Gary Farstad, General Manager of Dakota Dunes Resort collaborated with Geoff Assman, Senior Account Executive of Reed Security to design a comprehensive video surveillance system.
Design goals were to:

A total of 64 high definition security cameras are deployed throughout the property.
4MP dome style security cameras are mounted at entrances and record all visitors entering and exiting the building.
Comes with 100 feet EXIR 2.0 Night Vision and WDR (wide dynamic range) to provide clear images during bright and low light conditions.
FYI: 4MP is double the pixel count as 1080p
Smart features include unattended luggage, line crossing, intrusion detection and scene change detection.
A 12MP fisheye security camera is mounted at the elevators and records a 360 degree panoramic scene. This fisheye security camera provides the same coverage as four traditional network cameras.

A 128 channel NVR (network video recorder) with 60TB of storage records activities around the clock.
The NVR records for a minimum of 30 days before overwriting stored video. A UPS provides back-up power.

All cameras are administered from the General Manager's laptop and can be accessed with smart phones apps.
