Security Consultant

ROLE:

• Convince our Clients and Prospective Clients to spend their hard earned money with us
• You are the liaison between our clients and our various teams
• Business development

DUTIES:

• Generate opportunities
• Answer inbound leads
• Book on-site security evaluations
• Provide computerized proposals
• Product demonstrations
• Overcome objections
• Follow up and close a LOT of deals
• Achieve sales targets
• Provide above and beyond customer service to our clients
• Keep track of all opportunities in a CRM
• Security device map markups via .PDF editor
• Administration and documentation
• Day travel as required - we have clients all over the Prairies
• Effectively managing your time and working hard to produce results – for you and us

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience matters
• You should have 2 years recent B2C, Retail Electronics Sales or Account Management Experience
• Must be tech savvy and be proficient with Office 365 and quick to learn new software platforms
• A Training Program is provided
• Solutions include smart alarms, HD cameras, access control, intercoms, patient wandering, nurse call, 24/7 alarm and video monitoring, Alarm.com and service plans

PAY & BENEFITS:

• $60,000 to $110,000

Security Technician

ROLE:

• We are looking to add a Security Technician (or Apprentice) to help service our clients
• This a full time in house position 40 hours per week + Overtime + On Call rotation
• Some travel and over-nighting required

DUTIES:

• Install (or learn to), service and program wireless and/or hard-wired alarm systems in a residence or business (DSC, GE, Honeywell, Qolsys, ALARM.COM)
• Install (or learn to), service and program video surveillance systems and set up for remote viewing (REEDHD™, Avigilon, ALARM.COM, Hikvision and other leading brands)
• Install (or learn to), service and program a card access system (ALARM.COM, Kantech)
• Providing top notch tech support and service to our client base including Remote Login and Diagnosis for our clients
• What other strengths do you have that can help take Reed Security to the next level?

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive and CAN DO Attitude - this will get you through any situation
• Previous experience installing, servicing and programming electronic security systems is an asset
• Previous experience installing related electronics (home automation, fire systems, I.T., etc.) is an asset
• Previous experience as an electrician or apprentice is an asset
• You must be good with your hands
• Willingness to work hard, learn and multi-task and go the extra mile for your teammates and our clients
• You have reliable transportation and are dependable
• You are neat in appearance, have respect for others, can consistently meet deadlines, and do your best to be a TEAM PLAYER
• Neat and accurate paperwork is a must
• Must pass a Criminal Background check

PAY:

• $48,000 to $90,000
