SALES & DEALER MANAGER

THE POSITION:
  • We are looking for and experienced Leader to help us grow our branch and authorized dealer sales
SALES MANAGER DUTIES:
  • Develop a sales team consisting of highly successful, productive sales representatives capable of exceeding company revenue expectations as well as maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Driving sales expectations, marketing initiatives and ensuring profitability.
  • Follow to current policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement sales functions and process.
  • Strive to exceed budgeted revenue expectations.
  • Maintain effective customer communications and building solid customer relationships.
  • Set production goals, coach and motivate our team to exceed budget expectations.
  • Measure the activities of each Sales Representative to assure their business activities will produce results.
  • Continuously monitor the sales growth vs. budget expectations, sales plans target objectives, revenue growth performance and increased market share growth.
  • Implement and execute marketing strategies and business plans.
  • Work in conjunction with other department and business leaders to assure congruence with sales and operations.
  • Developing sales opportunities.
  • Provide sales training and education to sales staff.
  • Develop and implement key account strategic and tactical plans that insure account penetration and increased annual business.

DEALER MANAGER DUTIES:
  • Recruit new authorized dealers and grow the authorized dealer network.
  • Provide sales training to authorized dealers.
  • Measure the activities of authorized dealers to assure their business activities will produce results.
  • Manage the overall relationship with authorized dealers.
  • Govern the integrity of the authorized dealer agreements.
  • Oversee sales, installation, service and general administration through the effective management of authorized dealers.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience matters. You should have at least 5 years recent B2B (Business to Business) Sales and Management Experience.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with sales management experience in the security industry or running a dealer program.
  • Security industry training is provided.
THE PAY & BENEFITS:

  • You will be Selling Yourself, Selling the Company, and Selling our Products and Services.
THE DUTIES:

  • We want you to generate opportunities by actively prospecting, networking, and by referral.
  • We also receive numerous Inbound leads. We need you to qualify, answer questions, book on-site security evaluations, provide proposals, overcome objections, and close deals.
  • Provide Awesome Customer Service including "doing what it takes to satisfy our clients before and after the sale".
  • Participating in trade shows, golf tournaments, association meetings and other networking opportunities.
  • Effectively managing your time and working hard to produce results – for you and us!

TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

THE POSITION:
  • Acting as the front-line contact for our support team, you are the key to providing fantastic customer service that achieves not just customer satisfaction but customer happiness for Reed Security.
  • We're looking for someone who loves to help others and can be empathetic - even when dealing with tough customers!
  • This is a technical role within that will allow you to learn and understand a very diverse set of technologies. Our solutions include alarm systems, alarm.com smart security, HD Video Surveillance systems and Access Control systems.
  • We have 4000+ Customers and they need your Help!
THE DUTIES:
  • Taking phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting walk-in clients
  • You are the primary technical contact, determining the best course of action to provide outstanding support and service to our existing, and future clients
  • Providing knowledgeable and exceptional customer experiences while solving client concerns
  • Tracking and documenting customer interactions, offering technical support, and watching for common critical issues
  • Delivering first level technical assistance for alarm systems, camera security, and access control systems
  • Taking charge of each situation and finding fast and effective solutions
  • Offering web-based self-help, booking time with senior technicians, and determining if on-site service is needed
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations by talking with customers directly
  • Ability and eagerness to handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment and ultimately ensuring the best customer experience
  • Selling of upgrades, repairs, and parts when needed, as well as preparing sales proposals, service work orders and reviewing invoices
  • Helping to create and maintain our customer, dealer, and technical support materials including our website and online knowledge base
  • Other duties include: processing payments, tracking inventory, and assisting the rest of our team as needed
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Customer service experience, including 3-5 years of phone support
  • Experience with computer hardware/network equipment configuration and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of ticket tracking software essential
  • Familiarity with scheduling of service and appointments
  • General office know-how and proficient in MS Office and Web based applications
  • Well organized with a pleasant, friendly style of verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated and focused with a passion for technology, an aptitude for customer happiness, and a desire to help families and businesses feel safe and secure
  • Ability to learn and understand new ideas and concepts
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH:

SECURITY TECHNICIAN (OR APPRENTICE)

THE POSITION:
  • Do your friends come to you to get their computers and electronics fixed?
  • Are you the one that fixes the server or gets the email working when it goes down?
  • We will also train you how to troubleshoot and service electronic security systems.
  • This a full time in house position 40 hours per week.
  • We have 4000+ clients in Saskatoon area, but there is some travel and over-nighting.
THE DUTIES:
  • Install (or learn to), service, and program wireless and/or hard-wired alarm systems in a residence or business (DSC, GE, Honeywell, ALARM.COM)
  • Install (or learn to), service, and program video surveillance systems and set up for remote viewing (ReedHD, Avigilon, Axis, HIKVision, Exacq and other leading brands)
  • Install (or learn to) install, service, and program a card access system (Kantech)
  • Providing top notch tech support and service to our client base including Remote Login and Diagnosis for our clients

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Positive and CAN DO Attitude - this will get you through any situation.
  • Previous experience with security, telecom, electrical, audio, paging, electronics, construction, or a cable company is an asset.
  • You must be good with your hands.
  • Willingness to work hard, learn and multi-task and go the extra mile for your teammates and our clients.
  • You have reliable transportation and are dependable.
